SEW A SIMPLE WALLET

                                                         (PROJECT FOR JUNE 19th)





Hello All,


Have you joined my Facebook group, Sewing Made Easy? 
If not, head over and join the group to become a part of the sewing learning community.  Members of the group are able to ask questions pertaining to beginner sewing, questions and problems that arise but also participate in simple sewing projects that are created in the EVENTS tab, to get your confidence up and master basic sewing skills!

If you have joined the group, here is your project for the next two weeks.  We are going to sew and post 2 pictures of a simple wallet, using my tutorial, Sew a Simple Wallet.  For easy access, you can click on it below.


What will you learn from this project?  

With this sewing project, you will learn:

- How to sew straight lines
- How to add a magnetic clasp
- Top stitching a final product using 1/8in measurements


To complete this project, you will need the following sewing supplies:

1 outer piece of fabric 8 X 18
1 inner piece of fabric 8 X 18
2 pieces of interface, Pellon 809 8 X 18
1 magnetic clasp OR snap
coordinating thread
scissors
pins
an iron
