Sure, you can shove the cords and things in a zipper pouch, or the pocket of another bag.  I think we have all done that at some point.  But here is your chance to sew something to match your other travel accessories and be organized at the same time - under 30 minutes!
This organizer wraps around to close, allowing for flexibility and bulk. Use it for several different things; cords, makeup brushes, pencils, razors and more.  The handy pocket allows space for stuffing anything from wipes to flash drives, if desired.

Follow along with the tutorial to learn how to sew it.

Here are the measurements I used:
Strap - cut (1) 2 1/2'w X 20"L
Tabs - cut (2)  3"w x 3" H
Outer Fabric - (1) 9" w X 12"H
Inner Lining - (1) 9"w X 12"H
Interface - (1) 9"w X 12"H
Pocket - (2) 9"w X 4 1/2"H

Of course the elastics and tabs can be customized according to your needs.  Try using a Cricut, if you have one, to put a cool message on the outside flap.  Curve the edges of the rectangular fabric, or not..... and just be creative. Share your projects with me so I can see how you use it.

Get to sewing,
